Wake
General Info - Wake, or "Crasher Wake" has an arsenal
of hard hitting water types at his disposal. Both Gyarodos and
Flotzel have very high attack. If you have battled a trainer,
(You probably have) you may have lost a pokemon to this beast
(I know I have :P). If you have raised a Floatzel, you also
know how fast and strong it is. The best strategy for this battle
is to come in with some bulky Pokemon that are ristant to the
Water type and can pose a threat (Grotle, anyone?).
Lv 27 (Water/Flying) - I hate being on the wrong
end of a Gyarados. You should too. I have no idea how this thing
gets off the Ground, but it does, and thus it has a ristance
to grass. But this is also somewhat of a double-edged sword as
Gyarados is 4x weak to Electicity. If you have an electric type,
this will be easy to bring down. If not, then Rock type attacks
will do some damgage, but that's about it.
Lv27 (Water/Ground) - This thing isn't nearly as hard
to take down as Gyarados was, because although it may be immune
to Electric attacks, it has a 4x weakness to Grass, and Grass
is a pretty common type at this stage of the game.
Lv30 (Water) - Floatzel isn't that powerful,
at least not compared to the other Pokemon on Wake's team. It
is a pure water type, so it is week to both Grass and Electric
attacks. Floatzel attacks mainly with physical attacks, but Grotle may
not be as excellent a choice as it may seem due to Ice Fang.
