Roark

General Info - Roark is fond of the rock type, as are most of the starting gym leaders in the pokemon games. Take him out with Grass and Water moves. If you chose Chimchar, level it up to Lv14, when it will learn Mach Punch and become part Fighting type

Lv12 (Rock/Ground) - Geodude is a Rock/Ground type, so take it out in one hit with any Grass or Water attack.

Lv12 (Rock/Ground) - Onix is another Rock/Ground type, but with slightly higher defence than Geodude. If you were using Fighting type moves before, you will have more of a challenge, but that isn't saying much.

Lv14 (Rock) - Cranidos actually makes this battle somewhat of a challenge. It does not have as high defences as it's team mates do, but it also does not carry a 4x weakness to Water or Grass. Try to take it out quickly before it causes too much damage to your team.
