February 29, 2008 - Leap Day

February 28, 2008 - New layout!
I'm going to be uploading a new layout soon, so if you see any weird quirks with the site, don't worry, they should be fixed soon. :) EDIT: The layout is completed. It's a nice change of colors, don't ya think? If you have any comments, feel free to post them in the CBox. Updated/New Pages:
February 27, 2008 - Finally thought I should add some new pages.
I know I havn't added any new pages in about 2 weeks, no wait, exactly 2 weeks. I've been playing my Diamond, EV training a Metagross at the moment. And that kind of inspired me to write two pages, one on natures and one on characteristics. In other news about my personal life, the Chinese recitle went pretty well, at least they clapped... >_> And also, I officially can not wait for Super Smash Bros. Brawl, only 11 days left in the states! And if anyone cares, I think I've gotten over my cold. *yays*
February 23, 2008 - Sick :(
Sorry about the lack of updates, I've just been kind of doing... other things... Anyway, I'm sick with a cold. Yeah, it sucks. What is even worse is that I have to recite a poem tonight in Chinese at a Chinese New Year celebration. I just hope I'm feeling a little better by then. Also, I am thinking about hiring a few staff members. Basically they would be content writers, writing articles, guides, etc. If you are interested then apply here, be aware that I'll want to see a sample of your work. If hired, all articles you write for R1 will be given full credit to you (i.e. you will see a "Written by:" and then your name at the bottom of the page.). The job would be pretty lenient, I would not have any dead lines that you will need to complete an article by, but you would be expect to write one or maybe two articles at least each month. February 16, 2008 - 3 Day Weekend
Well, I hope everyone had a nice Single's Awareness Day on the 14th. I know I did... sort of... wasn't great... wasn't bad either... just kind of... in the middle... Anyways, its a 3 day weekend, I have Monday off as it is President's Day in the US. I'll probably get some pages done. In unrelated news... I beat Gold for the first time! I've beaten Sliver and Crystal before, but I just beat Gold this morning. That just leaves one game left unconquered... I need to finish Red! Updated/New Pages:

Yes, I know, two days late. But at least I did it, right? Anyways I've actually been playing the Pokemon games *gasp*. I started with Red, now I'm playing Gold, and after Gold in going to play Ruby, Fire Red, and then Pearl, in that order. Yeah, I'm weird like that. XP

February 4, 2008 - POTW and Affy news
R1 is now affiliated with Pokeblock, their image is below. Also, Mystic Islands is a pending affiliate, and I will put them up soon.  Also, the POTW this week is Blastoise! 
February 3, 2008 - New Section
So, my host was having some technical difficulties, and I wasn't able to access the FTP. But it is fine now so the site is now updated with a new section called "Mechanics." It is pretty straight forward. I'll probably be working on that section for a long time. I also made a page where you can let me know if there is an error on the site, pretty useful, don't ya think? Time to go watch the Super Bowl... Oh and I just noticed, R1 has a new Affy, the Safari Zone.  |
